Alexandria Goisse, Director & Instructor
Alexandria has been practicing yoga since 1999 and started teaching soon thereafter. With the loving support of her husband Jack, in June 2002 she opened her studio. She has had the opportunity to attend numerous workshops with many gifted and knowledgeable Iyengar teachers and is especially grateful to Bekir Algan, who has been her greatest influence. Through Bekir's teachings she has observed hundreds of private sessions which has enabled her to develop an acute understanding of the body, inside and out. Through this knowledge, her teaching style focuses on the importance of percise body alignment so that the body can properly open, strengthen and heal itself. She includes a seasonal approach, along with her knowledge of Ayurveda, to her teachings.
Alexandria's passion is to help others through the wisdom of yoga. Her students are an inspiration and she strives to share with them what her teachers have given her; a greater awareness of the body and the ability to be more conscious. |
